I've downloaded android file transfer later on researching merely it doesn't seem to work considering it keeps saying it tin can''t find my device. I've searched upwards how to fix it but it merely refers to other android devices and not the pixel. Does anyone know how to transfer music onto my pixel through a mac?

I don't have a Mac but I do accept iTunes and use iSyncr app and it has worked on every Android phone I've had to sync playlists from iTunes onto my phones.

Yous can upload to Google music. Once it synced it will be on whatever Android device you desire. In the Google music app on the phone, you can always download locally to the telephone. It's super user-friendly, upload one time. It's forever in the deject. This actually works on iPhone as well. My wife is an ios user and she too uses Google music to sync her music due to Apple express icloud storage.

Android File Transfer used to work for me with HTC phones but non working for Pixel. Google hasn't updated the app since Pixel was born.

I would use Google drive or USB drive as transfer medium.

Download/install that. Connect your Pixel to your Mac, then in settings go to Continued Devices - > USB - > Transfer Files. AFT should open a device file directory window. Copy/paste abroad.

Is that the new MBP with USB-C? I have the older MBP. I wonder if the USB cable is causing it.
